Who all here like to join the Russian Army and are willing to serve the Nation? How good is the Russian Army atmosphere when compared to other countries?

In soviet time, every men have to serve in army and if you not served, it was a extraordinary case and girls not wanted to date with guys which not server. But after end of USSR, army is very difficult place to stay...
I think now only 10% (maybe) of boys serve in army. You can return without health and brain.

There is one folksay in Russia :if it's impossible, but if you VERY want it, then it's possible (если нельзя, но очень хочется, то можно :-)
So, corruption in military commissariat... Corruption in health centers (somebody "buy" diagnostic) and in general, low level of young boy's health.
Moreover, there are official delays of serving, for example if you are student of university, if you have 2+ kids and so on...
