The major religion is Russian Orthodox Christianity, which is professed by about 75 percent of citizens.

I read somewhere that Russia has the highest proportion of Muslims for an European country; 25%.

In wikipedia they say that not more that 5%
May be in 25% they account ethnical muslims, that are not counted in 5% because they are atheistic, and only by birth could have been muslims
